It’s rare day that I side with any government agency but I guess this will have to be one of those rare times.
Two sisters owned a company that had a government contract for supplying parts to the army. They discovered that the government would pay any amount for shipping a part into a war zone. So they charged up $20.5 million over a six year period in fraudulent shipping charges.
Seems the two sisters enjoyed taking nice vacations. It’s rare that I agree with throwing people in jail but this is one of those cases that I really hope the remaining sister gets to spend her last days behind bars.
