Geeks on Steroids

In: Geeks on Steroids

1 Nov 2009

You have probably heard the horror stories that get told on the web about businesses. Having such stories circulating is harmful enough for those businesses but to add injury to insult a lot of the stories are simply not true. It’s an attack that competition is using, telling a negative story and getting it to rank higher in the search results than the original website.

When a potential customer sees a negative story about a company they are searching for, in most cases they are going to get scared off. It is not good for business.
It appears now that Geeks on Steroids is about to start doing reputation management.

According to Geeks on Steroids they have themselves become a victim of their own success. Having competitors not only make up false reports about them but then going online and linking to those reports in an attempt to get them to outrank their own site.

Janeth at Geeks on Steroids confronted one of the web design companies this week and was told that it was just good business. For this reason and this reason alone Geeks on Steroids has decided to get into the reputation management field and help level the playing field for companies who are falsely accused by their competition.

ALWAYS REMEMBER

Everything on this blog is my opinion and nothing should be taken as fact, unless it is consistent with what you already know to be true, or you have taken the time to research the matter to prove its accuracy to your satisfaction. This is known as "doing your homework."
